SUPPORT UTILITY APPARATUS
Support Utility
The Support Utility is the primary apparatus assigned to the Support Service Volunteer Unit. Each vehicle is equipped the same and is used to support the incident operation. The basic equipment carried on the apparatus is listed below:
REHAB & HYDRATION
Total of 550 botttles of hydration fluids. Including the following:

Support Utility 1
Support Utility 1 is housed at Fire Station 77 in Panorama City, located at the North East end of the San Fernando Valley.

Support Utility 2
Support Utility 2 is housed at Supply and Maintenance, north of Downtown LA, and is the primary response unit. This vehicle may have volunteers on stand by during the weekend.
What sets the Support Utility appart from all other Department apparatus is the word "SUPPORT" on the front of SU 1 and SU 2. These two vehicles are the only Department vehicles that have the words "VOLUNTEER UNIT" on the each side.
